Ki Pro Ultra Plus
Le Ki Pro Ultra Plus est un enregistreur multicanal en Apple ProRes qui offre jusqu’à quatre canaux d’enregistrement HD, ou un mode lecteur-enregistreur monocanal 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD en Apple ProRes® ou en Avid DNxHD® MXF. Ki Pro Ultra Plus supports the latest technologies and workflows, including 4-Channel simultaneous HD recording, 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD recording and playback up to ProRes 4444 XQ, DNxHD MXF support, HDMI 2.0, 12-bit deep color support and so much more. AJA just announced the new Ki Pro Ultra Plus, enabling simultaneous 1, 2, 3 or 4-channel HD recording up to 1080 50/60p, with full HDMI 2.0 (up to 12-bit capture and output) for 4K/UltraHD workflows. Ideal for recording multi-cam shoots in HD multi-channel mode, and 4K/UltraHD recording and playback in single-channel mode up to ProRes 444 XQ.
The video and audio connections on the rear panel of the Ki Pro Ultra Plus offer next generation connectivity with 3G-SDI, Fiber and HDMI inputs and outputs, AES and analog XLR balanced audio, LTC, RS-422 and LAN. Fiber Connectivity : Ki Pro Ultra Plus’ fully integrated fiber inputs and outputs means Ki Pro Ultra Plus can be integrated directly to a dedicated fiber network alongside many other fiber products. Fiber allows outgoing and incoming video signals to be transmited as far as 10km awayRS-422 control allows Ki Pro Ultra Plus to integrate easily with supported editing systems and external controllers allowing it to fulfill several of the functions of a traditional VTR.

- At NAB, AJA unveiled its new destination-oriented KUMO CP2 Control Panel for plug-and-play control of AJA’s complete line of compact KUMO SDI routers. KUMO CP2 is on display at NAB 2017 in AJA’s booth, SL2505, and will be available soon through AJA’s worldwide reseller network for a US MSRP of $895

New Multi-Mode SFP options for the family of FiDO SDI/Optical Fiber Mini-Converters are now available. AJA announced new Mini-Converters that resolve interoperability and interconnectivity challenges in modern broadcast and ProAV environments. New products include the 12GDA 12G/3G/SD-SDI Re-clocking Distribution Amplifier, 12GM 12G-SDI to/from 3G-SDI Muxer/DeMuxer, and new Multi-Mode SFP options for its family of FiDO SDI/Optical Fiber Mini-Converters. The 12GDA, 12GM and Multi-Mode SFP options are expected to be available soon
IPT-1G-SDI and IPT-1G-HDMI
Bridging from SDI and HDMI Video and Audio to TR-01 Compliant JPEG 2000 over IP
- Designed to complement AJA’s line of IP receiver converters, the new IPT products convert HD video to VSF TR-01 (and other JPEG 2K formats). IPT-1G-SDI provides one 3G-SDI input with a loop through SDI output, and IPT-1G-HDMI has a standard HDMI type A input. The IPT-1G-SDI and the IPT-1G-HDMI can be used in conjunction with KONA IP, plus the IPR-1G-SDI and IPR-1G-HDMI Mini-Converters, to streamline video ingest, exchange and distribution across an IP network, including,final reception to displays.
- At NAB 2017, AJA revealed upcoming firmware options for its KONA IP desktop video and audio I/O card, along with two new IP Mini-Converters that significantly expand flexibility in IP-based workflows. A new KONA IP license option for JPEG 2000 (2K), a preview of KONA IP firmware for SMPTE 2110, and new IPT-1G-HDMI and IPT-1G-SDI for bridging JPEG 2000 to IP Mini-Converters will facilitate flexible and cost-efficient delivery of work to and from creative suites via 1Gb Ethernet.

New JPEG 2000 License Option and preview of SMPTE 2110 support
- With Desktop Software v.13 KONA IP will offer an optional JPEG 2000 license for $250 per card for popular VSF-TR01 JPEG 2000 over IP workflows, and sits at the heart of a robust JPEG 2000 workflow with workflows, and sits at the heart of a robust JPEG 2000 workflow with AJA’s IP Mini-Converters. At NAB 2017, AJA is showing forthcoming KONA IP with SMPTE 2110 interoperability support at both the AJA booth and at the NAB IP Showcase.
- KONA IP firmware license for JPEG 2000 : The new KONA IP firmware license enables compression and decompression of HD video in real time to/from JPEG 2000 encoded within an MPEG 2 transport stream. Featuring support for TR-01, the update ensures interoperability with other JPEG 2000 systems and devices across the network. It supports three configurations: up to two simultaneous JPEG 2000 outputs, up to two simultaneous JPEG 2000 inputs, or a simultaneous JPEG 2000 input and output to a system running KONA IP. A single KONA IP configuration with the latest Desktop Software v13 installed offers out of the box functionality for a range of creative apps including Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple FCP X, Avid Media Composer and AJA Control Room; dual KONA IP configurations are also supported for more demanding JPEG 2000 workflows for SDK developers.
- KONA IP Firmware for SMPTE 2110 : coming soon, and being demonstrated at NAB 2017, is the new KONA IP firmware for SMPTE 2110. With support for SMPTE 2110 up to HD rasters, KONA IP will introduce new flexibility for live production professionals by enabling networking with separate essence flows. Broadcasters will be able to synchronize production of audio, video, and ancillary data elements, eliminating the need for embedding/disembedding to/from SDI while also reducing latency. Visitors to AJA’s NAB booth will be able to preview current and forthcoming release features.
