C'est la fin du transcode, de l'import, du rewrapping systematique grace au mode AMA(Avid Media Access) disponible depuis les dernière version de Media-Composer. Ce composant des nouvelles versions software Avid permet en effet de monter, derusher sur les médias tapeless dans leur format natif : RED, QuickTime, XDCAM, P2, GFCAM, et Canon XF (workflow appareil Photo Canon 5D, "X"D).
Avec l'AMA il vous suffit de connecter votre carte ou votre disque contenant les médias natifs pour commencer à les visualiser directement dans les soft Avid. Aucun transcode n'est nécessaire, ni passage au travers d'un autre software de traitement/import.
